Editing Basic Content

• Begin by opening the Contribute content management software.
• Once in Contribute, select the Gate City Rotary Club site from the "begin editing my websites" menu:
  
  
  
  
• By selecting the Gate City Rotary Club site from this menu, the website will be brought up in Contribute:
  
  
  
  
• To edit content within Contribute, simply browse through the website normally to the page you wish to edit. Once a page is selected, click on the "Edit Page" link in the top left hand area of the Contribute navigation:
  
  
  
  
• In edit mode, all editable text can be selected and modified easily. It's just like working inside Microsoft Word or any other text editor. Simply select a block of text and add your new content:
  
  
  
  
• Once your new content is inserted, click on "Publish"
  
  
  
• Click "OK" to save your changes to the live website. Your changes have now been published!
