Tomorrow we will be joined by a former colleague of mine, Greg Laskow, who will be speaking about some fascinating work he did in his career as part of Hostage Recovery teams. The team charter was then expanded to Disaster Team (e.g. they went in to Chernobyl). You won’t want to miss the stories he will share and the insight he will provide into hostage rescue operations (international military actions) and what happens with hostages afterwards.
A bit more background on Greg:
He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Scranton and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Tech University. In 1994, Greg retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of colonel. During his tenure with the US Army he was Chair of the Department of Psychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Consultant to the US Army Surgeon General in Clinical Psychology and Specialty Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs in the Department of Defense.
See you all in the morning!
